Job Title: Intermediate Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: Calgary, AB

Hybrid: WFH Monday & Fri, In-office Tues, Weds, Thurs

Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 CAD per year, based on experience

Overview:

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is confident managing client communication alongside digital execution. You’ll help bring marketing and web projects to life — from early planning through to launch, optimization, and reporting.

You’ll work closely with both clients and internal team members to support and lead tasks across social, email, web, and paid channels, while keeping projects organized and moving forward.

Client & Project Coordination:

  • Communicate directly with clients to clarify goals, gather requirements, and keep projects on track
  • Draft estimates, timelines, and project briefs with input from the team
  • Coordinate and contribute to project schedules and task follow-ups
  • Maintain clear documentation and support internal resourcing and prioritization

Digital Marketing Execution:

  • Create and publish social media content across platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Build and send email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Set up and monitor paid social and Google Ads campaigns, flagging performance issues or opportunities
  • Support strategy and creative with basic research and content recommendations

Web & SEO Tasks:

  • Update website content in WordPress and perform site testing before launches
  • Perform SEO housekeeping tasks including meta tags, redirects, and page structure improvements
  • Use tools like GA4, Search Console, and others to review performance and prepare simple reports

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing, communications, or digital project role
  • Comfortable working directly with clients in a professional, supportive manner
  • Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to understand complex tasks and requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, good instincts for time/project management, and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience with WordPress and other o similar CMS platforms
  • Familiarity and knowledge of basic SEO, GEO, LLMO principles
  • Google Analytics and digital reporting basics
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and email marketing tools
  • Experience with project management tools like Monday, ClickUp, Asana, or Trello
  • Light graphic design with Adobe or Canva experience
  • Certifications in Google Ads or Meta or interest in pursuing
  • Basic technical knowledge of web development and testing
